Flat track classes...

 

 

 

Here are the classes for the flat track. These may change based on how many entries we get in each class, as always there's a class for everyone and we'll fit you in somewhere.
You do not need a flat track bike or tires, this is a Hell on Wheels event, if it’s got two wheels you can race it!
There will be races for flat track bikes too.

Early entry is $30 and $10 for each additional class, sign up before 8/8/13 otherwise the price goes up to $50!

Entrance fee is $10, and worth every penny, you’ve never seen a racing like this!

Camping is available on Saturday night is only $10

Mini bike - Pull start.
Mini bike – Kick start.
Brakeless class - Yes that’s right bikes with no brakes!
Open Twins - 4 stroke Twins
Bomber - 4 stroke, Single cylinder
Modern - 1980 to present 4 stroke motorcycles
Vintage 2 Stroke – 2 stroke motorcycles up to 1974
Smoker - 2 stroke motorcycles up 1974-1980
Modern - 2 Stroke. 1980 to present 2 stroke motorcycles
Hell on Wheels Whiskey Challenge – Run whatcha brung, non flat track bikes only!
Hell on Wheels Pro Cup – Run whatcha brung, flat track bikes only!

Best one Yet... 2013 Hell On Wheels Rally

It was all over too quickly but this years Hell on Wheels rally is in the bag. Without doubt the best one yet! Thanks to all the sponsors for forking over there hard earned cash to help us put this event on  every year. Also a big thank you to everyone who showed up, from the Miss hell on wheels contestants to the racers themselves, we had a over 30 riders on the track in a couple of the moto's, the Vintage Mx race was worth the price of admission alone.

As usual and mainly since there is only a couple of us running the whole show we didn't get any pictures of our own, Luckily for us the more organized people out there did. Only two days to go until the summers best spectacle!

Today is the last day to get your race entry forms in at the low $30 price...Anyone can race on any bike you can think of, first timer to old pro there's a class and a trophy waiting for you.

Sign ups will be available the day of the show but get there early...gates open at 8.

Camping is available Friday and Saturday nights, the gates will be open until 11pm on Friday.

Practice session begins around 10am on Saturday 6/1/13 and the racing starts at noon. There will be live music from Dano juke joint freak show and The Singles as well as the annual Miss Hell on Wheels pin up Pageant.

Mystery solved, thanks Don Emde...

We've had this Picture on our event flyers for a couple of years but had no idea who the riders were until Don Emde saw it.

 Don wrote. Rider #7 is my father Floyd Emde #52 is Ted Evans. He has passed away now (as has my father), but Evans first was a Triumph dealer in the LA area, later added Yamaha. Don't know about #4. They... used to have a big TT race down in Costa Mesa (Back Bay area) and I think that's where this race is. I have this photo and have looked at it many times. My dad is well known for winning Daytona on an Indian, but he's on a Harley WR here. He actually raced Harleys much longer than he did Indians.

 

 

Floyd Emde won the Daytona 200 in 1948, his son Don won it in 72' the picture below of Don and Floyd was taken at Daytona in 1971.

MV Agusta 125s for sale.

 

 

1975 MV Agusta 125 s for sale. All original and unrestored, 980 kilometres on the speedo, runs perfectly. This was part of the MV Agusta collection that was recently auctioned off. Since we got we tracked down an original unrestricted pipe,... the missing 125s badges and another barrel in case you wanted to make it onto a 175.. This really is a neat little bike and it uses all the quality components you see in its big brothers.

 

 

1975 MV Agusta Sport E

The strong angular design aesthetic seen on the 350 Ipotesi was carried over to the 125 in 1975. The engine was a pushrod single-cylinder affair that developed 12 HP, and could be purchased with or without a dolphin fairing. The 125 utilized a full tubular frame. When it went on sale in 1975, the cost was 784,000 Lire, but at the close of production in 1977 the price had risen to 840,000 Lire. This was essentially MV Agusta’s swan song, as the firm closed its doors in 1977

We're looking for the next Miss Hell on Wheels!

Tell your girlfriends, wives, sisters and mothers we are looking for the next Miss on Wheels!

June 1st 2013 is the 10th annual Hell on Wheels Vintage Moto Rally and pin-up contest at the Mileston MX park in Riverside, California.

We are looking for contestants to participate in this year’s Miss Hell on Wheels pageant, contestants are required to wear either a vintage looking bathing suit or lingerie and heels. A trophy and a cash prize will be awarded to the winner along with other gifts.

The contestants may be invited to do an additional photo shoot (no nudity) for the Hell on Wheels Calendar, advertise shirts or other website products in the form of print, electronic or film for the website www.hellonwheelsmc.com.

For Sale

1964 Triumph 650, Just had a top end rebuild and new charging system installed, including rotor and tympanium. Pipes were just wrapped and the bike has newish tires. Runs good and starts easily. This bike has a California title and is ready to go.
